Intro to Ashtanga Series with Sachiko

Tuesdays: Sept. 24 – Oct 29th 6:45-7:45am

Learn the foundations of the Ashtanga yoga practice in this 6 week series. 

Explore the history and tradition of Ashtanga yoga with focus on tristana (breath, dristi, bandhas) and asanas. You will learn how to build a practice to do on your own that will benefit your physical and emotional well being.
This series is for: 
-Those interested in joining the morning practice but don’t know where to start
-Those wanting to build their own practice to do at home
-Those wanting to learn the Ashtanga postures with proper alignment
-Those interested in what Ashtanga is all about
Learning the foundation postures from Ashtanga will strengthen the understanding of asanas in any class you attend.
