with Nadia Boucher, RYT 200, experienced Yin Yoga Teacher, & Student-in-Training of Hanna Somatic Education
When: Saturday, December 21st, 2019, 1:30 – 5:30 pm
Where: Harmony Yoga & Wellness Center, 360 Duncan St, Duncan BC
On our darkest day, our deepest night, the quiet, cozy cave of Harmony Yoga Centre will be our gathering place to turn our attention away from the external, the business, the to-do lists — to allow the tossed waters of our beings to settle and still and open to listening to the subtle longings of our depths, calling us to journey home.
By beginning our time together with the slow, mindful, gentle movements of Hanna Somatics, we will give ourselves an opportunity to more fully inhabit our bodily experience, awaken to and release deep, often unconscious, holding patterns and rest with wider awareness and capacity to surrender in our long-held yin shapes.
Infused with poetry, wisdom teachings and sacred silence, the intention of our Winter Solstice mini-retreat, including meditation, pranayama and rest, is to give ourselves time to connect intimately with and nourish our depths while helping to fortify ourselves for the coming season of winter.
