If you are thinking of kick-starting the New Year with a meditation practice or if meditation is new to you – this three-hour workshop will be a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
We will explore a variety of meditation practices with information on how and when to use the different practices of standing, sitting, lying down, and walking. There will also be helpful tips for finding comfort in sitting, setting up a home practice, and developing consistency in a home practice.
We will incorporate some gentle yoga movement to prepare the body for stillness, so wear comfortable stretchy clothing. Bring your questions and your curiosity. Beginners are welcome.
