In springtime, nature is awakening from a long period of rest and so are our bodies! This workshop offers a space to support the body through this seasonal transition and attune to the energy of spring: a time of renewal, movement and expansion.
In the first part of the workshop, we’ll explore theory: integrating the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we will learn about the organs that are most solicited at this time, as well as which foods, acupressure points, and lifestyle practices can help to restore balance to our body in spring. In the second part, we’ll practice: with specific Yin Yoga postures, we’ll stimulate the energy channels and revitalize the internal organs associated with this time of year, emerging with a deeper understanding of how to support ourselves throughout the springtime.
