A 17 day Integrated Yoga Journey with Deborah Curruthers and Shelley D'Amico
VI Yoga School is offering another fabulous retreat in Kerala, India. Kerala is a beautiful state on the tropical Malabar Coast. It is known for its palm-lined beaches, its beautiful backwater network of canals. Inland are Western Ghats, the mountains that support tea, coffee and spice plantations as well as wildlife reserves. The retreat is located in the Cardamom Hills near the Periyr Tiger Reserve.
September 18 -Oct 8th, 2023 (tenative)
Where: We visit tropical South India with our Retreat in the spice hills of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kumily, Kerala. We will stay at Chrissie’s Hotel
Cost: $3500 CAD ( approximate) A $500 deposit, is required for registration. Not included: Flights and overnight in Kuala Lumpor
Important: You will need to apply for India Visa. Passports must be valid for more than 6 months after arrival date.
What’s included:
- Yoga Intensive classes with VI Yoga School Deborah Carruthers and Shelley D’Amico ( owner of Namaskar Yoga Parksville)
- All accommodation (single occupancy) upon arrival at Chrissie’s Hotel and Retreat Center included
- 3 meals/day at Retreat Centre
- Private ground transportation to and from Retreat Centre
- Airport transfers
- Pre-trip info session and preparation (including packing lists, cultural information, maps)
- Assistance with flight and Indian Visa
What’s Not included:
- International flight cost to India return + Flight Insurance
- Overnight in Kuala Lumpor
- Medical Insurance
- Indian tourist visa
- Some meals at arrival/departure city
- Free time excursions, tips, souvenirs, personal items
Transport:
• Flying Vancouver Kuala Lumpur, to Cochin. Spending an overnight in Cochin
We have a private bus all to ourselves for the journey to and from the Retreat Centre.
- Airport transfers are included. For those extending their stay in India, airport departure transfer is not included.
Health :
- Health insurance for the duration of the trip is mandatory.

Booking Flights:
- Cost of flight is not included, but assistance in booking your flights is included.
- Flight + Health insurance are both mandatory
- You receive a complete flight itinerary from Linda Jones, Marlin travel
- Flight prices ranger from $2000-2200
Cancellations and Refunds:
- Greater than 45 days prior to departure-receive 100% of the Retreat fee as a refund .
- Less than 45 days will receive refund less the deposit ( which will be given to our retreat hosts in India)
- Retreat. VI Yoga school reserves the right to cancel a Retreat at our discretion and monies received by us will be fully refunded.
